Porlamar

The city of Porlamar is considered to be the capital of commerce, entertainment and social and public life on Margarita Island. Here is where most of the inhabitants live and work and here you'll find the largest variety of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and discothèques.

Without a doubt, it is the most famous beach on Margarita Island. Plenty of palm trees give shelter to the numerous restaurants that offer their service directlyto chairs located in the fine sand. Located at the beginning of the boulevard is a small picturesque free market where you can buy beach towels, sun glasses, sandals, beach wear, tanning lotion and much more at reasonable prices.
 

Playa De La Guardia

La Guardia is both a fishermen’s village and a beach with the same name. The beach extends along 1.400m of white seashell sand and is 15m wide., the water is warm and becomes deep 8m from the shore.

 There is also good surf.
 

Certainly the world's best beach to practice water sports like kitesurf and windsurf due to its perfect wind conditions during the whole year. It is also one of the main international tourists destinations in Margarita Island. White sand, warm and calmed waters besides strong sea winds are the main features of this idyllic place. Playa Manzanillo

Playa Manzanillo is a piece of the real Caribean. There are no hotels and this little fisherman village is a real pearl of Isla Margarita. It is a very active place with a lot of fishing activities every day. The fishermen land huge quantities of fish directly on the shore.Sport facilities nearby:
